London day 2

4 Aug

Although we love London, we did get a bit ‘homesick’ today – and misses the seagulls from Sidmouth, the view from Andy and Jackys garden and the very special blue sea… and of course our friends. But soon we were back at the Monmouth cafe for a cup of morning coffee, and then we did start to feel home in London again.

After coffee, we went to Leicester Square station, because Covent garden at the moment only is for exit. We tubed till King Cross St Pancras, which is at pretty big station. Went off and walked down to Granary Square where we had breakfast at  ‘Caravan’. This was a very nice place, which we certainly will visit again, and write more about in another post.

Then we went back to the city life again, and found Sister Ray´s new recordshop (only vinyl) on Shoreditch Highstreet.

And suddenly were we in the middle of London again. A quick visit to Rough Trade and Leadenhall Market, and through Spitalfileld Market, and had lunch at  LEON.

After a quick visit to Lillywhite and a couple of others shoeshops, we finally went home to the hotel, were we´ll rest before we go to Yo-Sushi for dinner. Today Endomondo tell us that we walked 19,4 km. in total, so I can understand why my feeds hurts….
